The art of tattooing seems to be as old as our history, though with a difference. It’s being updated following the advancement. Earlier villagers use to get their name carved on their arm. Some use to have ‘Ram Chandra’ or ‘Krishna Wanti’ or may pay tribute to their gods and goddesses by carving Jai Siyaram’.
Ignoring this kind of tattoos or belittling them, youngsters today seem to apply their witty brains into this art. Not only thse they even go on to see this art as their profession. As a result we see the boom in evolving tattoos parlours.
A reverse trend has been witnessed through as people outside India prefer to embrace our old form of tattooing i.e. carving names whereas Indians tend to deck up their body with the beautiful masterpiece of art.
